REFERENDUM WILL REPLACE THE CANCELLED PCM MEETING

We would like to inform you that the PCM meeting planned for September 8th was cancelled. It will be replaced by the mail-in referendum. Please read the attached correspondence that in great detail explains the reasons for this change. To avoid any misunderstanding, the PCM Board members would be happy to answer questions relating to the referendum.

 REQUEST FROM THE BISHOP’S OFFICE

Fr. Kazimierz relayed a request form the Bishop’s Office of the Memphis diocese regarding a new allocation process for the   money collected during our masses. The Bishop’s Office requested that all funds collected would go directly to the church. This process began at the last mass, which took place on August 11th. In the light of this situation the Board would like to inform all members that funds collected during monthly masses were monthly supplemented form the PCM budget. For example, as of July of this year funds collected during monthly masses (not including donations addressed directly to the priest) totaled $ 296. That sum was supplemented to $ 600 to cover organizational costs, such as payment to the priest as well as the fee for the use of the church.

SEPTEMBER PICNIC-DATE CONFIRMATION

We would like to confirm that the September picnic will take place on Saturday, September 22nd, from 4 pm to 8 pm, at the park in Germantown, at the Johnson Road Park pavilion.   The program of the picnic includes a holly mass.  Mark your calendars! PCM will provide kielbasa for the grill and soft drinks.  Please bring a dish to share with others.  Viola Bute is coordinating the menu.
This time we will meet at the pavilion next to the tennis courts, across the lake form the pavilion were we usually meet.

NEW PARK RULES

We would like to inform you of the new park pavilion rental rules regarding most of all the prohibition of consumption of the alcoholic beverages while on the park premises. The park rangers will perform inspections to assure compliance. Please adhere to these rules.
