Today’s holy mass will be celebrated in memory of Anna and Andrzej Niewiara. Praying Hands

Lord, you asked us to love all people, including those who have gone before us, as our brothers and sisters. We all live in You, and we will all be united with You in the same faith and love. Please help us, our loving God, to always follow Your direction and support our living brothers and sisters with a good example and a helping hand, and those who died with our prayer and the benefits of our good deeds. Lord, please hear our prayer, because of your never-ending love, mercy as well as passion and death of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

i dużo wspaniałej energii dostałam.
Dziś dla Was w podzięce pisze tych słów parę,
abyście wiedzieli, że i ja mam wiarę
i w każdym człowieku szukam pięknej strony,
bo #322;ości i do miłości stworzony.

Thank you note

I would like to thank all of you who helped and supported me in my illness and during my long hospital stay.

I especially appreciate your visits, the words of support, your kindness and, most of all, your prayers for my health!

The last party this Carnival season - „Polka Dance

The last party this carnival season will take place on Sunday February 14th at 5 pm at the Madonna Hall (St. Ann Church – Bartlett). The „Polka Dance” party is coorganized by St. Ann’s Church and the Polish Catholic Mission. Tickets ($10 each) can be purchased from the church office (ph. 373-6011), as well as from Zofia Schmidt (ph. 372-5794). We encourage you to get your tickets as soon as possible, because the hall can only hold up to 100 people and we will not be able provide more tickets. The menu of the evening will include red beet soup, meat-filled rolls, sausage baked with sourkraut, meatballs, potatoes, bread, red beet salad, cabbage and leek salad and more. For dessert we will have Polish cakes and hot drinks as well as soda. Wine can be purchased separately. February 14th is also Valentine’s day so there will be an additional reason to celebrate! Everyone is welcome!

PPolo shirts with the Polish Catholic Mission Logo now available

One of our last decisions made in 2009 was to order black polo shirts with the PCM logo. The final price of the shirts will depend on the volume ordered, but it should not exceed $15.  Please place your orders, specifying the size, with Zofia Schmidt or Krystyna Zawada (ph. 756-0587) by the end of January.

Financials

The collection from the mass of January 2 came to $188. $100 was spent for church expenses. We kindly remind you that offering envelopes can be picked up at the entrance of the church (addressed for the PCM or for the Seminarian fund).

Help needed!

We encourage everyone to let us know if you can help with any of activities performed by the Polish Catholic Mission. We need choir singers, collection ushers, lectors, altar servers as well as volunteers to help in the sachristy. Let’s remember that all talent comes from God and he deserves our respect and glory by our work, preyer and song. If you can help, please contact Zofia Schmidt or Fathers Kazimierz, Krzysztof or Jacek.

Another request for a helping hand

The Figlewicz family is in need of our help. Their daughter Renata is having a garage sale in their house on Feb. 19th in order to collect some money for the family. Please check your closets and attics for anything that you could donate for sale. Please remember that many things you may consider useless someone else may find very useful!. Please call Renata (ph. 388-9658) to make arrangements. Thank you so much for your help!!!
