It has come to our attention that one of our
friends, Andrzej Słominski has been
honored by the President of Poland.
Andrzej has received the "Order
of Polonia Restituta" award for
anti-communist and pro-democracy activity during the
1970s and early 80s. This award
established on Feb 4, 1921, and is one of Poland's
highest Orders.

The award was presented by Lech
Kaczynski, the President of the Republic of Poland.
Andrzej also was honored by a visit with Lech
Walęsa, the founder of Solidarity, and Nobel Peace
prize laureate.
You can read about this award on
Wikipedia.
